OXYGEN

Verse 1

What happened to the brave ones?
They fall like ashes, in the dawn.

Raging fires from sea to sea
As they smother our liberty.

(Chorus)

It’s not the way it should have been.
We need clean Oxygen.

If not now — then when?
We need Oxygen.

Verse 2

Flinging lies and deceit in the wind.
Feeding the flames, fueled by sin.

As embers spread across this great land.
Causing destruction, they don’t understand.

(Chorus)

It’s not the way it should have been.
We need clean Oxygen.

If not now — then when?
We need Oxygen.

Verse 3

With clenched fists, we scream and we howl.
Our leaders point fingers and cry fowl.

The seeds of division grow further down.
Taking the air away as our voices drown.

(Bridge)

But Hope is here. Its a crisp, clean rain.
Wash the skies, take away my pain.

Fill your lungs. Let your voice be heard.
Remind our leaders, who they serve

(Chorus)

It’s not the way it should have been.
We need clean Oxygen.

If not now — then when?
We need Oxygen.
